Who are visitTeesvalley?
We are a team of six people who work in partnership with the five local authorities of Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton on Tees, to promote the Tees Valley to visitors, locally, nationally and internationally.
We are involved in a wide range of initiatives including:
- Product Development
- Culture and sports
- Marketing
- Workforce development
The organisation focuses on the main markets of
- Business tourism
- Leisure/consumertourism
- Group travel
- Festivals and Events
- Workforce Development
We aim to create a lasting impression, which will encourage visitors to come back and spread the good word about the Tees Valley.
In 2003 the impact of tourism was £393 million added to the local economy, which supports over 14,000 actual jobs.
