Tees Health and Transport Partnership
The Tees Health & Transport Partnership has been running since 2003 having been originally established to develop transport solutions for the changes in health service provision investigated as part of the Tees Review. Four sub groups have been created to tackle specific issues. These are:
- Information Leaflet Sub Group
- Tees Emergency Care – Transport Sub Group
- Transport Links/Joint Public Transport Sub Group
- Links between Hartlepool and North Tees sites
- Access to health and health care
- Review of travel costs scheme
- Travel Behaviour Sub Group
The mission statement and the action plan for the partnership are currently under review and will be finalised shortly.
Tees Valley Access to Employment, Training & Further Education Partnership
This partnership was set up following recommendations from a stakeholder workshop held in January 2006, in order assist in the delivery of the Accessibility Strategies. The partnership meets bimonthly and is supported by a number of working groups dealing with specific issues including:
- Effective partnership working;
- Improved information and image; and
- A coordinated approach to improving services.
